Director of Equipment Engineering - The Director of Equipment Engineering will lead a Mechanical project team in concept generation, budget estimates, machine design, structural analysis, component selection, design documentation, test procedures, troubleshooting and manufacturing support.
Product Manager - The Product Manager is responsible for all aspects of Flexion product management, including, strategic product plans, product definition, competitor and competitive intelligence and revenue planning and forecasting. In addition, The Product Manager will lead the cross functional product team and be responsible for product life cycle management. . The Product Manager will formulate and carryout these plans and strategies to consistently meet or exceed objectives and follow additional directives.
Director of Quality - The Director of Quality is responsible for developing and maintaining a business operating system which conforms to ISO-9000 requirements and to assure that all products consumed and manufactured by the organization meet established specifications and achieve superior quality and reliability levels.
Product Development Engineer (FMEA) - The Product Development Engineer will employ Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and other problem solving methodologies to address inadequate product performance, identify potential failures in batteries, and create prioritized lists of corrective action recommendations for implementation. Other responsibilities will include battery product design & development as well as product specification at the development level. This scope also encompasses electrochemical cell formulation and product optimization to continuously improve battery systems performance. The Engineer will lead the transfer of developed battery technology into manufacturing scale up and supports the team, but also function alongside cross-functional teams to ensure that commercial products meet desired/developed technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have successfully worked on various battery technologies from concept through production release.
Battery Process Engineer - The Battery Process Engineer is responsible for the specification, implementation, documentation and continuous improvement of battery manufacturing processes. Establish specifications and achieve superior quality and reliability levels. Project management across engineering, manufacturing and QA teams to develop and implement product manufacturing processes, Create all process documentation and specifications required to manufacture, assemble and test a product as well as Validate or re-validate process capability. This position is also responsible for defining, document and implement “total quality control plans” inclusive of customer requirements, supplier, and manufacturing system elements to satisfy customer critical quality aspects of products.
Battery Design Engineer - The Battery Design Engineer’s primary responsibility will be product design & development including product specification at development level. This scope also encompasses battery cell formulation and product optimization to continuously improve battery systems performance. The incumbent will establish and utilize basic design of experiments (DOE) to ensure comprehensive qualification and validation of products; may also be required to not only transfer developed battery technology to scale up and manufacturing teams, but also function alongside teams to ensure that scaled up products meet desired/developed specifications. The Battery Design Engineer will employ failure mode effects analysis and other problem solving methodologies to address inadequate product performance. The ideal candidate will have successfully worked on various battery design configurations from concept to production scale up.
Mixing and Coating Engineer - The Mixing and Coating Engineer is responsible for the specification, characterization and continuous improvement of the mixing and coating processes.
Machine Maintenance Technician - Night Shift (5 p.m.-5 a.m.) - The Machine Maintenance Technician’s primary purpose is to maintain, repair, and continuously improve all Production equipment and plant facilities on a 24-hour a day, 7 days a week basis. Machine Maintenance Technicians are assigned to day or shift positions and carry cell phones for daily communications and off-hour callbacks. Consults with the Maintenance Engineer, PCS Engineer, Process Engineer and Production Supervision where information is exchanged and direction is given and priorities are established.
